Work experience is one of the six
factors for which points are awarded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada
officials to determine if a skilled worker will be accepted or refused.
Note: If a candidate gets zero points for work experience,
his request will likely be denied.
A maximum of 15 points are awarded under the experience
factor based on the number of years (maximum 6 years minimum 1 year) experience.
This work experience must be gained in a profession level 0, A or B according
to the National Occupational Classification (NOC).
