Education- Federal Skilled Wprkers

Points for education will be awarded based on an assessment of academic credentials by a Canadian organization designated to determine the value of their Canadian equivalent .
Education is one of the six factors for which points are awarded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada officials to determine if a skilled worker will be accepted or refused .


A maximum of 25 points may be allocated under this factor as follows :

Master`s level or professional degree

Two or more post-secondary credentials, one of which is a three-year or longer post-secondary credential
22 points
Three-year or longer post-secondary credential               
21 points
Two-year post-secondary credential

One-year post-secondary credential      
15 points
Secondary school            
5 points
