The adaptability factor is one
of the six factors for which points are awarded by Citizenship and Immigration
Canada officials to determine if a skilled worker will be accepted or refused.
A maximum of 10 points can be received for this criterion.
These 10 points can be awarded for either a full-time job in Canada, or a
combination of 6 other adaptability factors.
Points are awarded under the adaptability criteria based on
various factors, as expected, will improve the ability of the applicant to become
economically established in Canada. These factors are as follows:
